The Cardiographic Technician program is designed to prepare students for employment in hospital cardiology departments, diagnostic cardiology laboratories, cardiology offices and outpatient care centers. The program offers a sequence of courses that provide training in Healthcare Administration, Electrocardiography, Cardiovascular Testing and an introduction to Echocardiography. Graduates attain the skills needed to prepare for a career in the healthcare profession for entry-level positions as a Cardiographic Technician (CCT), EKG Technician (CET), Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT), Monitor Tech, Cardiology Office Assistant or Diagnostic Cardiology Laboratory Assistant and the fundamentals to continue their academic success at the next level.
Cardiographic Technician Training With Pasco Medical Training
Our Cardiographic Technician training program includes supplementary training and certification opportunities as a:
- CCI-Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT)
- CCI-Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT)
- NHA-Certified EKG Technician (CET)
Our cardiographic technician program is specifically structured to be completed in Seven (7), four-week modules (28 weeks), including cardiovascular echocardiography (Ultrasound/Sonography), anatomy and physiology, rhythm analysis (stress testing) , basic electrocardiographic techniques(EKG), introduction to health services administration and clinical experience. These modules are scheduled over the length of 28 weeks or seven months. Cardiographic technician students will complete approximately 600 hours prior to obtaining a diploma.
- 18 Years of Age.
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
- Basic Physical Exam, Including Negative TB Skin Test or Negative X-Ray.
- State DOH Fingerprinting (Level II Background)
