Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

American Heart Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR / First Aid
As a Training Center through Pasco-Hernando State College, we offer BLS/AED training using the nation’s leading CPR guidelines from the American Heart Association. Our CPR course, which is good for two years, will teach you everything you need to confidently perform CPR in the field.
Phlebotomy Technician Exam-Prep Course (CPT)
The NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician Exam Prep Course consists of courses which, over a four week period, provides preparation assistance for the National Phlebotomy Certification exam. This phlebotomy test-prep course is an option for students that are looking to increase their knowledge about phlebotomy or those looking for additional training to enhance their knowledge in the medical field, without having to go through a full program.
The day or evening Phlebotomy Test-Prep Training course will provide students with all the knowledge and skills needed to pass the National exam. Students will practice with training aids to build up confidence and provide them with the opportunity to do live sticks within the classroom. This training provides the assurance needed for a phlebotomy technician.
Electrocardiography EKG Exam-Prep Course (CET)
Pasco Medical Training offers an innovative EKG Technician Exam Prep training course to prepare healthcare workers to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician Exam. This course includes medical terminology, cardiac anatomy and physiology, rhythm, and basic interpretation.
Patient Care Technician (CPCT-A Diploma)
Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled healthcare workers who, under the
direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, can carry out the essential basic
bedside nursing functions. The PCT comes in direct contact with the patient in the performance of his or her assigned duties. Students also receive supplementary training in 12-lead EKG, basic phlebotomy techniques, terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
